Back in February, we began partnering with Undue Medical Debt to eliminate outstanding debt for specific counties in New Hampshire. We selected Merrimack and Hillsborough County in hopes of eliminating debt that may negatively impact our patients, their families and friends, and our neighbors in these communities.
We are proud to announce that we donated more than $10,000 for this worthy cause, enabling Undue Medical Debt to pay off $2,139,046.84 in outstanding medical debt for 1,613 New Hampshire residents!
Recipients of this debt relief will receive letters in the mail beginning this week.
Here are the totals from each dispensary:
- Merrimack Donations – $1,613.95
- Chichester Donations – $1,720.54
- Total Dispensary Donations – $3,334.49
- GraniteLeaf Donation Match and Bonus – $6,554.49
We are very grateful to all our patients and caregivers who supported this campaign. To all who donated, we can’t thank you enough!
We also greatly appreciate several community partners who contributed. Thank you to Blue Dolphin Screen Print Inc, our branded apparel supplier, for donating $212, and to Hirsch & Company LLC, our Merrimack dispensary property managers, for donating $500.
In addition, we partnered with Northlands Music & Arts Festival and raffled off 6 weekend passes to their event this June, and we raised $233 through this effort. Raffle winners were selected in early May and have been contacted.
