What is THCA?
THCA is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid that has been associated with several therapeutic benefits. THCA is a precursor to THC, and when THCA is exposed to heat, it becomes THC. This process is known as decarboxylation. THCA has a variety of therapeutic benefits and can be a great choice, especially for daytime use.
THCA has been documented to help with different conditions, and it appears to be especially effective as an anti-inflammatory. If you have inflammation and haven’t used THCA yet, then it may be worth trying. The THCA molecule is too large to bind to the CB1 receptors in the brain, which is why it is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid. Many patients find it works well in conjunction with other cannabinoids like CBD and THC.

Products with THCA
THCA is easy to find in the cannabis plant, but since it converts to THC when heated, it can only be consumed as a tincture or non-heated edible. One way to get THCA is by eating cannabis flower raw by itself or mixed with a food like peanut butter or honey. Some concentrates, like THCA isolates and kief, can be consumed raw as well for a highly concentrated dose. We offer three different tinctures with THCA; Daytime THCA, Daytime THCA/THC, and the Golden Ratio (THC/THCA/CBD/CBDA). The 10mg THCA capsules are a great way to get an accurate dose of THCA that lasts in the system for 6-8 hours.
