Inaugural New Hampshire Cannabis Conference 11/22!

2025 New Hampshire Cannabis Conference

New Hampshire’s Therapeutic Cannabis Program (TCP) has been serving patients for nearly a decade, but many Granite Staters remain unaware of its existence. Everywhere we go, we meet people who have never heard of the TCP, and we meet others who are vaguely aware of the program but don’t know much about it. For example, very few N.H. residents seem to have heard that our therapeutic cannabis laws improved in 2024, making it much easier for patients to qualify.

As part of our ongoing effort to raise public awareness about therapeutic cannabis, we are excited to be sponsoring the inaugural New Hampshire Cannabis Conference on Saturday, November 22. This event will take place at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, and we believe it will be an awesome opportunity to bring our program “out of the shadows and into the light.” We would love to have you join us for a day of networking, cannabis education, policy discussion, and more!

Here are the details:

WHAT: New Hampshire Cannabis Conference

WHEN: Saturday, November 22, from 9am to 4pm

WHERE: Grappone Conferene Center, 70 Constitution Ave., Concord, NH

There will be something for everybody at this conference. The morning session will include presentations about the past, present, and future of the TCP and a panel discussion called “What Can N.H. Learn from Other States,” featuring cannabis regulators and policy experts from neighboring jurisdictions. The afternoon programming will be geared more toward patients, caregivers, and medical professionals, concluding with a keynote address at 3pm by New Hampshire’s own cannabis scientist and author Dr. Riley Kirk!

Conference Highlights

  • 9:15am to 10:15am: “Cannabis at the Capitol: Past, Present, and Future”

We will begin the morning session by remembering and honoring the patients who advocated for therapeutic cannabis in New Hampshire between 2008-2015. This will be followed by an overview of current policies, insights into how the program has developed over time, and an examination of policy considerations for the future.

  • 10:30am to 11:30am: “What Can N.H. Learn from Other States?”

This informative panel discussion will feature a commissioner from Vermont’s Cannabis Control Board, the policy director for Maine’s Office of Cannabis Policy, and a top cannabis attorney from Massachusetts. Our neighboring states have a great deal of experience with cannabis policy, so this will be an excellent opportunity for Granite Staters to hear about their policies and how they are working.

  • 1pm to 1:50pm: “Share Your Story”

Patients will be invited to bring their experiences “out of the darkness, into the light.” If you are interested in participating in this session, please “share your story” with us here, either in writing or by uploading a video.

  • 2pm to 2:50pm: “Cannabis in Practice”

What have medical providers who work with therapeutic cannabis patients learned from their experiences? This panel discussion will feature several N.H. medical providers, and it will be moderated by Dr. Jerry Knirk, chairman of the Therapeutic Cannabis Medical Oversight Board (TCMOB).

3pm Keynote Address: Dr. Riley Kirk

Earlier this year, we were honored to assist our friend Dr. Riley Kirk as she promoted the launch of her new book, Reefer Wellness. She is a cannabis scientist and educator with a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, specializing in natural product chemistry, and we are very much looking forward to her keynote address at the N.H. Cannabis Conference!

Her address will be titled From Data to Dosing: Current Research to Advance Personalized Cannabis Care.

Here’s more info from the conference website:

This keynote will explore emerging research on cannabis consumption methods, highlighting how chemistry can help distinguish between smoking, vaping, and edibles, and how these differences shape individual experiences. Dr. Riley Kirk will present data on dosing with specific cannabis profiles and discuss how tailored approaches may benefit people managing anxiety, pain, or insomnia. The talk will also address the barriers to cannabis research created by federal restrictions and share innovative strategies researchers are using to collect meaningful, real-world data despite these challenges.

You will not want to miss the inaugural New Hampshire Cannabis Conference. Reserve your ticket today and share this opportunity with your friends!
