CBDA: WHAT IT IS, WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS, AND WHERE IT'S FOUND.
Potential Therapeutic Benefits
CBDA has shown potential in helping treat clinical depression and easing the nausea of chemotherapy patients. It may also be an even better anti-convulsant than CBD and may be beneficial for treating patients who experience seizures. In addition, some early-phase clinical trials have indicated that CBDA may even have anti-tumor properties. This research is promising, but many more studies will be needed to fully explore the therapeutic benefits of CBDA.
Where is CBDA Found?
Due to its nature as an acidic compound, CBDA comes in rather limited forms. Any raw cannabis (or hemp) flower that is grown for its CBD content will contain natural CBDA before it is smoked or vaporized. Non-decarboxylated CBDA oil can also often be found in tinctures. Our Golden Ratio tincture contains CBDA along with CBD, THCA, and THC.
