Cannabis and MS

Therapeutic Cannabis for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic condition that affects the central nervous system, disrupting communication between the brain and body. Symptoms vary widely, including muscle spasticity, chronic pain, vision loss, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and bladder dysfunction. Cannabis has emerged as a potential option to help people manage these symptoms when other treatments fall short. Research has shown that certain cannabis products, particularly those containing THC and CBD, may reduce muscle spasticity, relieve nerve pain, and improve sleep quality. Many people living with MS have found cannabis to be beneficial for managing their symptoms and improving their quality of life.
