For our April Community Outreach project, we are proud to partner with Pope Memorial SPCA to support local animals in need. Their mission is to care for abandoned and homeless pets, advocate for animals in need, and promote the humane treatment of all animals.
Located in Concord, their facility serves as both an animal shelter and a clinic providing essential services such as vaccinations. They also operate a pet food pantry for owners who need temporary assistance feeding their pets. In addition, they offer valuable resources and education to help prevent animal cruelty and neglect in the community.
On Saturday, April 11, Pope Memorial SPCA will host their annual Dirty Paws 5K. This fun, community-centered event raises funds to support homeless pets and programs focused on preventing animal cruelty. The race will begin at the Banks Humane Education Center, located at 95 Silk Farm Road in Concord.
Throughout the month of April, we will be collecting cash donations at both of our locations, and GraniteLeaf will match all donations up to a total of $2,000. We encourage you to join us in supporting Pope Memorial SPCA and making a meaningful difference for animals in need.
